Is someone getting married today?

Once upon a time nearly thirty years ago a little girl awoke bright and early. She was a dreamer. She loved the world of fantasy. She wanted to be a princess and ride a unicorn and live in a beautiful white palace on the hill surrounded by rainbows. That morning on the television there was going to be a wedding, a real prince would marry his bride and she would become a real princess. That little girl was not going to miss it for the world.

As that little girl watched in wonder the princess to be finally arrived. She had the most amazing puffy white dress with a train that went on forever. Her tiara and veil topping it all off stunningly. The little girl quickly ran to the bathroom and grabbed the longest towel she could find and draped it over her head veil style. This was confirmation that her two worlds could become one. Fantasy meets reality!

Now years later the girl has grown up and she still enjoys bringing the world of fantasy into her reality through her writing. When pen goes to paper or the keys click rapidly she feels just like she did on that July day so many years ago.

Her own daughter just five years of age has the wedding fever now too.  She awoke bright and early this morning and asked, “Mummy is it time for the wedding yet because it is so exciting?”

What will this Royal Wedding inspire her to become?
