Last week was a busy one and there were two entries to the Spacey Sunday challenge. Ken Broad over at Fictional Campfire wrote The Universe and Beyond, if you haven’t read it yet you might want to go check it out. Also if you go and visit Yikici on her page you can read her story called The Keepsake which she managed to write using two challenges.
I will be away from home and my blog next Sunday so I have decided to make the Sinister Sunday challenge span over the next two weeks, instead of one, therefore stories should be completed by June 4th.
The rules are to write a flash fiction piece (or more than one if you so desire) of any genre but the theme word for the next two weeks is sinister. If you want to join in post your story on your blog and then put a link in the comments section below so we know where to find it. I may not comment right away while I am away but I will read every one as soon as I can. Have fun and I can’t wait to read them!

Hey Billie (do you prefer Billie or Billie Jo?) I found your blog through a tweet from Sonia G. Medeiros. I didn’t see a word count on this Flash Fiction Challenge. I was wondering it it was the standard 500 or are you gracing your participants with 1000 words?
I left the word count open to everyone’s individual interpretation of flash fiction this time. Usually I set a 500 word limit but last week I was more generous and went for 1000.
Ok, had this idea anyway and your challenge was PERFECT. So I didn’t wait to find out any word count caps. I cut it down to 500 words, so hopefully that’s not too long. Thanks for the challenge! http://scottandwords.blogspot.com/2011/05/flashy.html

Billie Jo -I apologise for not being able to join in with this challenge -I had a hectic week and for some reason thought the deadline was 12th June! -I’m such a scatterbrain sometimes! I hope to be me more organised soon! I hope you had a great break away.
