Sky Swimmers –

A big deep breath,

here is to finding a balance.

Floating free, emerging in the big blue calm.

Fluffy waves as ornaments to the rippling sky.

Secrets the sky swimmers

and the birds guard.

Evelyn over at Filling a Hole is once again hosting the Buddha Rocks Project this week. Each day writers use a different photo as inspiration for their posts chosen from the vast library taken by Eric Alder located at Bubba’s Place Deviant Art Gallery – Buddha Rocks.

I’m afraid of flying but I love to swim… maybe I need to think of flying like swimming in the sky! Lovely poem that is very fitting to the photo.

What a great way to look at that…LOVE this.

I was dreaming about the sky being blue waves when I woke up this morning, how the birds flapping wings were causing the wake-like currents. Great poem!

Swimming and flying definitely share similarities in sensations of weightlessness. Some people find freedom in those sensations, some do not. Interesting piece.
