We are getting reports that a young female dressed in a St Augustine’s uniform has stabbed a young male multiple times in the chest. The incident occurred on one of the downtown buses just moments ago. Eyewitnesses at the scene have been calling in and sending messages to the studio. From what we have been told police and paramedics have yet to arrive. It appears a few of the other passengers have subdued the suspect and are awaiting assistance from the authorities.
At this time we cannot rule out that this incident is related to the story we brought you earlier where four City High youths were arrested at St Augustine High School this morning. The police were acting on an anonymous tip that the four youths allegedly carried firearms and intended on discharging them on St Augustine’s school grounds. News 10 will bring you updates on both stories as they unfold throughout the day.
And there it is, the final voice for voice week 2014. I hope it fills in the blanks the other voices left. I have enjoyed writing these voices and want to thank all of you that took the time to read them and comment on them. I look forward to next year already.

Wow. Gripping. I had no idea, but it all kinda makes sense now. That wink of his was probably her breaking point. Good gosh – that got my blood pressure up! Nice work.
Thank you Stephanie for playing host once again this year. It has been enjoyable.
Nice wrap up. It’s such a detached, analytical voice, just reporting the facts with minimal emotion
Ah, it’s a bus! I wondered what the setting was. Well played.
Thank you!
And then everything fell into place. Nicely done this week–pleasure to read!
Thank you Evan. It was fun.
Whoa! I had a feeling that this might all be building up to something dramatic, but I just wasn’t sure about anything. I thought something happened to HER, not him. But, yeah, it makes sense now!
What about those four youths? Was Niko involved with them? Was Maria the one who gave the anonymous tip?
Yes, they were Niko’s gang and Maria gave the tip. They were going to hurt innocent people and Maria could not let that happen.
The sad yet inevitable conclusion to domestic violence. I thought he was going to rape her after read the other posts….I love it when you can read characters in more than one way. A nice twist to the end of the story.
He is the type of guy that would stoop to that level. Thanks for reading.
I’m kind of glad you had her doing the attacking not him. The reader’s on her side, so that works better. I’m confused about the second paragraph of the news report – what do the other youths have to do with it? Am I just being dense?
The boy who was studying with Maria was going to get attacked by Niko and his gang. Maria stopped it all from happening. Hard to make it clearer with so little words. 🙂
