Resurrection Day

So here I am couple months into the year 2017 and so far it is proving to be an okay year for me. I have come out of the woods so to speak and am ready to once again walk in the sun. I am eating healthy, exercising regularly, I have started a gratitude journal, I am feeding my brain novels again and slowly my muse has started to return so I am trying to recommit to writing regularly. For me, trying to resurrect my blog is one way to do that.

I have not got a game plan. I’m not sure if I will relaunch any regular themed posts, post short stories or just babble but I am at least going to try to recommit to blogging regularly. I look forward to reconnecting with old blogger friends and gain some new ones along the way. So stay tuned and see how well I fair this time.

  1. Welcome back, Billie Jo. Good to see you are around again 🙂

  2. I was having trouble staying consistent when I tried to commit to daily blog posts. I found that by committing only to weekly posts, I often did more than that but (vacations excepted) always made my weekly commitment, which has brought me more followers! Frankly, I auto-delete a lot of posts of bloggers who post daily and more frequently – it’s just too much reading when you follow a lot of blogs. But I think blog followers appreciate content-rich, well thought out less frequent posts.
Just a suggestion based on what worked for me.

    • Yeah, I agree, back when this was an active blog, I used to post 2-3 times a week but I had a set schedule such as author interviews, short story challenges and other things such as my posts highlighting phobias which had regular followers and participants. It worked well at the time but life got busy and hard and then even monthly posts were a struggle. Now, I’m in a good place and am going to aim for at least once a week and if more posts happen than that is great too. Thank you for popping by and taking the time to comment. I appreciate your input.
