A Dog’s Life – Featuring Chris Otto

My dream of writing books started when I was only young. Those of you that have followed my blog for a while might also remember one of my favourite places to write when I was young was on a flat rock in my secret spot in the woods. The area in which I grew up was filled with woods and rocks. Neighbours and houses were not as plentiful.

I was unaware during those years spent filling my notebooks with stories that just up the road notebooks were also being filled but with doodles and drawings. In that house another dream was budding. Chris Otto grew up on the same road as I did and in the past couple of years his dream of becoming a cartoonist has come true. “A Dog’s Life” is where Chris has been able to showcase his talent. He publishes new comics to his site on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I have been reading the story of Jack and Diane as they live their daily lives and the antics of Hunter S. Thompson the chocolate lab, Gillian the rescue pup and Boris the spider for a few months now. They are thoroughly entertaining.

Recently Chris has turned his attention to getting his comics in print. “Bark To The Future” is a collection of comic strips from the online site, “A Dog’s Life”. Chris is currently seeking support to get his comics published through an Indigogo fundraising campaign. If you enjoy serial comics and dogs you should go and check them out.
